The Curse was broken. Karen confessed. Robin is the bide. Ivy didn't get the part. Rachel went to New York. Nick moved back. Jimmy got Hope. Gloria is pregnant. Victoria is dead. Kragen woke up with a dead hooker in his bed. Wolowitz got married. Jack and Avery got divorced. Andy got his job back. And that is where the writers of the 12 season finales and the 1 series finale (Desperate Housewives) decided to end things.
I watch a lot of TV and I am currently sucked in to 12 different serieses ranging from Glee to Law & Order:SVU, from Once Upon A Time to Modern Family...the list goes on.
I know that TV turns your brain to mush. I know that is makes you more dumber. I also know that I mostly don't care...plus, I watch Jeopardy, so that's got to count for something. I've also found a way to use my TV watching for good. I use commercial breaks as work-out breaks. It's a really good plan. Even my grandma noticed the difference my TV-routine has made. (For the record, that was my 'mean' grandma).
But now I'm afraid. Now that my shows are done until the fall, I'm afraid of falling out of my fitness routine. I need new shows to feed my work-out habit and my TV addiction.

The Office-full circle
Day 10 - A show you thought you wouldn’t like but ended up loving-Probably The Office. I didn't have a ton of exposure to this show until my senior year of college. I came back after a summer of camp and all of the sudden my roommates were obsessed. I, however, was still obsessed with camp. They were having none of this 'camp counselor Lauren' nonsense. They refused to hear about my camp stories and my awesome camp life. Therefore, anything that they liked, on principal, I didn't.
Then I discovered Jim Halpert (swoon). Okay, The Office was a funny show. Was being the operative word which brings me to...
Day 11 - A show that disappointed you
I am starting to get really bored with this show. I am really hoping it's the last season. I think that alot of what kept the show alive was the cute crushiness of Pam and Jim. Now that they are married, Jim doesn't have to be cute and try to win over Pam anymore. Michael is just plain stupid. Dwight...well, I was never sure what was going on there to begin with. And then there is Erin, seriously? And Gabe? What is that?
Last week's episode was good, mostly because I love theatre and Andy was in a local production of Sweeney Todd. Apparently, it was a production full of musical theatre geniuses, because they were all able to master Sondheim in the month between auditions and opening night...but, sure...whatever

Day 02 - A show that you wish more people were watching
This is tough...since I feel like the current shows I watch are pretty darn popular (Glee, L&O:SVU, Desperate Housewives-don't judge-, 30 Rock and The Office)
Two years ago I would have had the perfect answer for this...Pushing Daisies, of course.
Even though it's canceled, I still think more people should watch it. Seriously, I can't say enough amazing things about this show, it is my absolute favorite ever ever EVER!!The cast and characters are just so much fun!
Lee Pace is Ned, the piemaker with the ability to bring people back to life with a single touch.
Anna Friel is Charlotte 'Chuck' Charles, the alive-again girlfriend of the piemaker.
Kristin Chenoweth is Olive Snook, a waitress at the Pie Hole who is in love with Ned
Chi McBride is Emerson Cod, a detective who uses Ned's 'gift' to solve murder cases
Swoozie Kurtz and Ellen Greene are Aunt Lily and Aunt Vivian, formerly the synchronized swimming duo 'Darling Mermaid Darlings'; currently agoraphobic...
Okay, I promise I'll lay off PD for a while, or at least I'll try...

'A rit-dit-doo'
When the character of Andy Bernard first joined the cast of The Office, I thought he was the most annoying person on the face of the Earth. I almost hated him more than Dwight (and I can't stand Dwight). But he grew on me. Yes, he is very annoying. Yes, my heart still belongs to Jim Halpert. But Andy is just such a clueless goof that you can't help but laugh. I definitely would have rather had Jim mug, it's true. But Jim didn't go to the party; if you know which episode this mug is from, you'll understand.

I'm not going to lie, I think I'll be glad after tomorrow when this mug thing is done and I can blah-g freely about random stuff again. Not that I haven't been doing that throughout this, but I feel a little locked in to writing about the mug of the day and trying to tie that in to something that makes sense.
For instance, I'd love to write about the re-awakening of my Harry Potter obsession. It's been pretty dormant for a while, but...it's baa-ack!
I was watching Sorcerer's Stone last night. Everyone is so little in that movie. I can't believe it's been ten years since it came out.
There is a part near the end, when they are trying to get to the Stone, and they have to play an epic game of Wizard's Chess to get through. Ron is telling Hermione to be a castle, Harry to be a bishop and then he says: "As for me, I'll be a Knight"
This part is so special for me because my grandfather's name was Ron Knight. I know it's just a weird coincidence. JK Rowling didn't know my grandpa, but for some reason...I don't know.

Dwight Schrute, In the Wharehouse, with the Dundee
Last night I played 'The Office' version of 'Clue'...favorite board game+favorite TV Show=why not?
The weapons in Office Clue are a little bit awesome because they include (but are not limited to): a ream of paper, a rabid bat, a bacon grill, a poisoned pretzel, a Dundee trophy, and a small pewter version of this:

I was inspired by last night's board game sesh to free this particular mug from my cupboard this morning.
And while I am no-one's boss...this mug (purchased in the dollar section of Target) makes me feel like I could be 'The World's Best' whatever I set my mind to be. Plus, it cost a dollar, and anything that costs a dollar is a necessity. Obv.
